What is VES?
VES (Virtual Employment Solutions) is a professional networking platform that connects students, university clubs, and companies in one place — for building connections, discovering opportunities, and growing your career.
Is VES free to use?
Yes, creating an account and using the core features of VES is free.
How do I create an account?
Select "Create an account" on the sign-in page and follow the steps. You can sign up with an email and password or continue with Google.
What is Recruiter Mode?
Recruiter Mode is a dedicated account type for companies. It lets you post jobs and internships, post to specific universities, organize events, share company updates, and discover student talent. You can learn more from the "Explore VES for Recruiters" section on the login page.
What is a VES Score?
Your VES Score reflects your activity and engagement on the platform. It helps recruiters and other users get a sense of how active and engaged a profile is.
How do I join or create a club?
You can browse and join university clubs from the Spaces section of the app. Club officers can also create a new club from within the app.
How do I control who sees my profile?
You can make your account private, and block or report another user, at any time from within the app.
How do I delete my account?
You can request deletion of your account at any time from Settings. This removes your profile from the Service.
Are my messages private?
Yes. Your messages can only be seen by you and the people you're chatting with. They're sent over a secure connection and stored securely. If you choose to use AI suggestions, the recent messages in that chat are sent to Google's Gemini AI to create the suggestion. You can turn AI suggestions off at any time in Settings.
